DEMAND is the campaign for the DESIGNATION of East Midlands Airport (EMA). Designation is the use of the 1982 Civil Aviation Act to regulate and restrict the night time (and day time) operations of any UK airport.

Airport Tracking Facility
Take a look at this web-based Airport Monitoring solution. It shows live radar informaiton on all aircraft operating at up to 80 miles from the airport. Apparently it is low cost to implement, and is being used by airports across the world to build trust with local communities. You may need this Java plug-in for it to work.
