12 ELVAA to J Arscott (CAA). Numerous issues and questions regarding NEMA's flight path consultation put to the Director of Airpsace Policy. Backed up by the Freedom of Information Act implemented this month, we intend to get the answers.
12 ELVAA to Charlotte Atkins (Aviation Minister). Why was designation refused in 2000 and will the Aviation Minister qualify the opinion that NEMA is capably administering its own noise controls?

23 Edward Garnier MP to Tony Blair. Urging the PM to take a look at the situation that is brewing in Leicestershire, and assign the problem to the Secretary of State at the very least.
10 Graham Keddie (NEMA) to ELVAA. Various "assurances" about illegal night flights and still no answer to the question: "Is NEMA aware of any intention to expand the UPS freight terminal building to increase its capacity?" (Ten-fold, so we hear).
10 Edward Garnier MP to Tony Blair. A complaint about the "consultation" process and requesting that NEMA is designated thus controlled by central government.

July 2004

27 ELVAA to Tony Blair. Complains of the disparity between consultation provided by London Airports and that provided by NEMA.
23 ELVAA to Graham Keddie (NEMA) - a full explanation has not been received regarding aircraft flight path violations on the 17th June. Follow up to our letter dated 14th July below.

05 ELVAA to Sir Roy McNulty letter (CAA) - objection to the the CAA response 30th June below.
05 Graham Keddie (NEMA) to ELVAA - a response to ELVAA's letter of complaint to the CAA. Denies that aircraft flying over East Leicestershire that night were part of any trials.

30 Sir Roy McNulty (CAA) to ELVAA- states that aircraft are not required to remain within controlled airspace at all times particularly at night.
30 Emails from CAA (David Butcher) indicating that NEMA can do what they want within Approved Airspace.
19 ELVAA sends a letter of complaint to the CAA (Sir Roy McNulty) about aircraft flight paths and the noise produced.

06 ELVAA to J Arscott (CAA). Complaining of NEMA's disdainful and unhelpful attitude.

07 Letter from ELVAA to John Forte (a Billesdon Councilor and Chairman of the Harborough District Executive Committee). Contains a list of suggested points for NEMA to answer before the consultation period finishes. This letter was never answered!
